Dear NYC Parents, Teachers and Education Advocates,
Wishing all of you a happy and healthy New Year. It’s hard to believe the 2012-13 school year is flying by as we see the movement around ending high stakes testing continue to grow slowly. We hope to engage with many of you with future efforts and actions as we enter the new year ahead.
Change the Stakes hosted an exciting forum on December 10th entitled
High Stakes Testing: Helping or Hurting Education. We invite you to follow this link to view the discussion and share this email with others: http://vimeo.com/55505143
You may find the panel stimulating as well as enlightening.
Please join Change the Stakes for an extremely important meeting this Friday, January 4th as we kick off 2013 and continue to build opposition to educationally unsound testing policies that are hurting our children and our schools.
